Colorado Wedding Photographer
specializing in mountain weddings
welcome
I am Danielle Fobar, but you can call me Dani. I am a portrait and wedding photographer based in colorado.
I’ve worked with 60+ couples in the past five years, capturing each of their stories.
I started my business in New York working with West Point cadets and military promotions. We moved to Colorado Summer of 2025 and the first thing we really noticed was the amount of sunlight compared to the East Coast. It’s been a wonderful adjustment!
Now here in Colorado I’ve been working to rebuild by finding the best clients and the best venues to work with. I’ve enjoyed getting to know various planners, florists, DJ’s, venues, etc. It’s been a whirlwind, and I’ve been loving the ride so far.
I have two kids, a husband, two dogs and a cat that make up my family :) I am originally from Montana so the mountains have always been home to me.
Our style and philosophy
I approach weddings like solving a puzzle. One element at a time.
The way I approach your day is simple. It’s YOUR DAY. Never apologize for asking to have another photo. I see all the work that went into planning your beautiful day, and I love watching it all come together, so it's my honor to capture it. My biggest strength is being super resourceful in solving problems.
I'm based in Boulder but I love to explore other places. When I first moved to Colorado, the Flatirons captured my heart the first time I saw them, and Maroon Bells, Ouray, Silverton, the meadows inside Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park are all on my bucket list to shoot.
I'm genuinely easy to be around. I can talk to anyone, and find something in common or at the very least mold myself into every personality in the room, I've got them. They are all my new best friend.
I will watch for reactions during your ceremony, anticipating them, capturing them naturally, and cheer you on as you become forever. Post ceremony we’ll grab every photo of family you want, and finally we will have a moment to breath as we dive into the most important photos of your wedding, the ones you hired me for.
This is the moment I've been building toward all day. The ones that end up framed, shared, passed down. I bring everything I have to this time and I am fully locked in. The more you give to me the better the photos and the more I give.
